Rita Hazan is a world-renowned celebrity hair stylist with a salon in the heart of NYC. With a range of custom-branded hair supplies, her team needed to manage their current Shopify storefront better and rebrand with a modern look. As the lead developer, I delivered a seamless migration to Shopify 2.0 and expanded their configuration capabilities. To bring their vision to life, I developed custom sections using Liquid, JS, and CSS, allowing for easy content management and a more dynamic user experience. I also integrated third-party services to enhance customer engagement, such as an appointment scheduling system, an Instagram feed automation tool, product reviews, and a customer rewards program that increases customer retention. Overall, the project resulted in a modern and dynamic website that allowed Rita Hazan's team to streamline operations and engage with customers better. It was a fulfilling project that allowed me to showcase my development skills and contribute to the growth of a beloved brand in the beauty industry.
