Colgate-Palmolive needed a scalable and unified UI component library capable of adapting to design systems across their massive brand portfolio. As a lead contributor, I spearheaded architectural design for the Vue-based library. The library utilized a custom theming engine to convert Figma design tokens into brand-specific CSS values. The primary architectural challenge was ensuring the monorepo remained modular and framework-agnostic enough to compile cleanly into multiple deployment targets. This composability drastically accelerated site launch and management velocity across the portfolio, saving the enterprise an estimated $500,000 in external vendor and consultation fees within the first six months of operation.
